so there is a store where i live that has 1 elite but it has been there for a while now [maybe a year or so].i'm planning on buying it but i dont know if microsoft modified the new ones or are they all the same?
in other words,how do i know if the new ones have something modified then the old ones?one more thing,did the elite had same problem with the disc being scratched while playing??btw not in america so don't tell me to cantact microsoft

No it hasn't being redesigned yet and yes they are made of components from allover so the disc errors still happen (it's not better). If you didin't know 360 have a high return rate(33%) and though MS has upgraded the warranty make sure that store will exchange it for you or you will have to ship it back and forth to whatever nearest MS warranty depot is near you. It is a gamble.
