Help with Microsoft Word???

Alrighty you Microsoft geniuses....... My puter just got wiped and Microsoft Word was wiped along with it...... I want to know how to get it back .... (for free)..... and preferably without having to go get the software CD somewhere and all that crap.......

Another option available to you is Open Office. It's downloadable for free and you don't have to find serial numbers, etc. It is compatible with MS Word, Powerpoint, etc. Otherwise you can reinstall from your MS Office cd or try to get it to reload from your Add/Remove Windows Components, as stated above.

You cannot get microsoft word for free. Use the disc that came with it when you installed it the first time... or the cd provided with your computer (if the computer already had the software on it). You can always download Office 2007 for free, but its not an eternal license..... just until the real thing comes out i think.
Well, do you have your system back now and are just missing MS Word???? If that's the case then just go to "control panel" "add/remove programs" and then on the left side you will see "Windows Components". Click on that and it should have a list you can scroll down and when you get to "Microsoft Word" just click on that and it will install it for you.

legally you're not supposed to get it for free

but if you have a friend who has the cd, you may borrow it and install it, but that too is considered well illegal

there are sites that have the software online but they're illegal and downloading it is illegal...just so you know
