I messed up my Microsoft Outlook?

I have been using regular Outlook. Not Outlook express. I decided to try using Outlook to be my E-mail client. I did not know what I was doing and used Yahoo as my incoming and outgoing exchange server.

Big mistake ! Now when I try to open my Microsoft Outlook with my calendar, address book, ect it wants to automaticlly say it cant find exchange server and tries to open Outlook Express which does Not work either.

I went to the icon and tried to Undo changes but it did not work.

I removed Microsoft Office totally and re-installed from 2003 disc and still get the same result. I want my Regular Microsoft Outlook back.

At this point- I am only using Excel,Word and P.Point. I am afraid to try reloading Outlook..

Can someone help me..Im not stupid, I just cant seem to undo this mistake properly..

you can open it up and delete that profile you made for yahoo or keep it. not sure about yahoo having pop and smpt for a free email account, but in any event you need to have the proper pop and smpt addy to connect to the server.

so create a new profile.

so when setting up new client use the same addy as you did in outlook. if you forgoten or don't know, visit the site that holds the email acount and in the help section they should give step by step directions for using their pop and smpt addies. all your doing is creating a new profile with the new pop and smpt addies to talk to the server. if ya wanna keep yahoo to, you can, just edit that profile to the proper pop and smpt addies.
