I downloaded microsoft office 2008 for mac, and the system requirements of the office says that any version after OS X 10.4 is ok..
I bought a macbook which is Mac OS X 10.5.2
but while I was trying to install it says likeYou cannot install Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac 12.0.1 Update on this volume. A version of the software required to install this update was not found on this volume.
I really dont know whats going on with it.
can anyone help me..???
thanks in advance
Why doesnt microsoft office work on my macbook..??firewall
You downloaded an update meaning you need to have a prior version already installed. This is only to update to latest version.
You need to get full install.
Why doesnt microsoft office work on my macbook..??husqvarna
Microsoft and Mac are rival companies, but i dont think that matters, send a note to mac about it they might tell you whats wrong.
It sounds like your installing the update and not the actually program...Did you buy the software or downloaded from a torrent site?
you have to get a mac version
mac's have different programming and stuff
so they work with different things
Try updating your system.
sounds like you downloaded an update to office 2004..
